Win five-star recipes by matching cubes

Gordon Ramsay: Chef Blast is a free puzzle mobile video game wherein you can learn recipes while matching blocks. Developed by Outplay Entertainment Ltd., this 2D game features a cartoon version of real-life master chef Gordon Ramsay and all of his dishes. With classic match-3 gameplay mechanics and amazing recipes to try out, cooking fans and tile-matching fans will appreciate this combination in a game the features a world-famous chef.

A tasty combo

Gordon James Ramsay is a British chef, restaurateur, television personality, and writer who is famous for being one of the best-known and most influential chefs in the United Kingdom. He had risen to fame after starring in various cooking shows and is known for presenting TV programs about competitive cookery and food, such as Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, and MasterChef. Thanks to his fame, he’s also starred in a video game called Hell's Kitchen: The Game.

This time in Gordon Ramsay: Chef Blast, however, you don’t have to worry about time management. Here, you get to play with classic match-3 mechanics—matching colored cubes to collect food items and ingredients for your next dish. The gameplay is simple enough so if you’re used to this puzzle subgenre, then you won’t have a hard time following it. The in-game tutorial is also easy to digest since Chef Ramsay guides you through it.

When you complete levels, you can unlock Gordon Ramsay’s own exclusive recipes that you can follow in real life to recreate and enjoy—complete with both imperial and metric measurements. Aside from that, you can win booster power-ups, avatar portraits, and Hearts. The game gives you more levels every two weeks and you can also try to climb the leaderboard to become a Culinary Genius. However, some levels can feel far too difficult all of a sudden.

Become the ultimate apprentice

All in all, Gordon Ramsay: Chef Blast is a great choice for any match-3 puzzle fan. It’s challenging enough with its unique level designs and cool real-life rewards despite sudden difficulty curves in the levels. Plus, you get more challenges every two weeks to keep things fresh and you don’t need an internet connection to play. If you’re looking for a puzzle game that likes to spice things up, this is a good recommendation to try out.
